This series of aluminum plates has several advantages. Firstly, it has a relatively simple production process and mature technology compared to other alloy aluminum plates, giving it a significant edge. It also has good elongation and tensile strength, fully satisfying the requirements of conventional processing such as stamping and stretching, and has high formability.

As an industrial pure aluminum, the Aluminum Plain Sheet  Alloy 1060 exhibits high plasticity, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, and thermal conductivity. However, it has low strength and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. It also has poor machinability and is not easily soldered, although it can be gas welded, hydrogen atom welded, and contact welded.
