Sarlin film aluminum coil (blue Sarlin film) is a multi-layer composite film made of polyethylene and Sarlin polymer with a total thickness of 76 microns. This Sarlin film is firmly coated on the metal surface under high temperature and high pressure in metal factories, effectively helping to protect the metal insulation layer of pipelines in refineries (power plants, chemical plants) from corrosion.
Common thicknesses of Sarlin film aluminum coil range from 0.1mm to 1.0mm, and common widths range from 500mm to 1500mm. For coastal projects or environments with strong acid and high corrosion, aluminum-manganese alloys such as 3003, 3A21, and 3004 are selected.
