Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier aluminum roll is a multi-layer composite film made of polyethylene and Polysurlyn with a total thickness of 76 microns. This film is firmly coated on the metal surface under high temperature and high pressure in metal factories, effectively helping to protect the metal insulation layer of pipelines in refineries (power plants, chemical plants) from corrosion.
Common thicknesses of Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier aluminum coil range from 0.4mm to 1.2mm, and common widths range from 500mm to 1500mm. The alloys used include 1100, 1060, 1050, 3003, and 3004, which have good anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties. Generally, the 1060 and 3003 grade are most commonly used, accounting for 60-70% of the usage. For coastal projects or environments with strong acid and high corrosion, aluminum-manganese alloys such as 3003, 3A21, and 3004 are selected. The thickness of the film polysurlyn is 0.076mm, with a weight of 0.08 kg per square meter. When bonded with the aluminum coil, it does not crack and cannot be torn off by hand.
Hunan Green House Aluminum Industry Co ltd uses moisture-proof kraft paper packaging to achieve waterproof and moisture-proof functions. If customers require large rolls (around 2.5-3 tons), the packaging uses wooden pallets with a static load capacity of 5 tons, ensuring no damage during logistics. For smaller rolls of 20 meters or 50 meters, our workshop staff provides more special packaging, using wooden pallets, plastic film, moisture-proof paper, and steel straps to ensure no damage during logistics.
We strictly follow the national standard GB/T3880-2012 for production, controlling the thickness tolerance within ±0.02mm and the width tolerance within ±2mm.
The chemical composition is in accordance with GB/T3190-2008. Each aluminum roll jacketing aluminum coil provided by Hunan Green House Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. is a qualified product. According to the national standard GB/T3880-2012, the standard thickness is 0.5mm, and the materials are 1060 and 3003, with a weight of 1.355 kg per square meter. Each ton contains 738 square meters. The thickness tolerance during production is ±0.02mm, and the common width is 1 meter. To meet customer needs, Hunan Green House Aluminum can produce small rolls of 20-100 meters, as well as provide whole rolls weighing 2.5-3 tons.
The aluminum coil itself has good anti-corrosion properties, and the addition of a polysurlyn film layer enhances its service life. It also absorbs moisture inside the pipeline. The polysurlyn film is processed using a hot pressing technique. After soaking the processed polymer film in water for 24 hours, it is dried, and its quality remains the same as before soaking, with very strong adhesion.
